CIP Tafalla - Floods in Navarra

Last weekend there were severe floods in the middle part of Navarra and its capital, Pamplona. At this moment they have reached the south, and they are heading for Aragón. They are causing serious damages in agricultural lands and buildings.

Fortunately, our school is no near the big rivers.

Last Friday some students and teachers couldn't come to school because they live in villages badly affected by the Arga river: Funes, Pamplona, Burlada, etc.

Aerial view of the surroundings of Funes last Saturday, where the streets were practically completely flooded by the overflow of the Arga river.

Images of Rochapea, a neighbourhood in Pamplona, which is one of the most affected places.

Images of Burlada, a town next to Pamplona, taken by a teacher of our school who lives there.
