Imagen
Last Tuesday 14th December, at CIP Tafalla school, we held the week of coexistence and the 1st GSA group took part in the lecture on "Social networks and mental health", given by Julen from the Macsonrisas team. In the lecture we dealt with issues of cybersecurity, on how social networks affect us and the proper use of networks for our health. First, the lecture began by teaching us how to protect our social networks against hackers. Some of the protections he recommended were: activate the "two-step verification" in our social networks, how to create a secure password and inform us on how often it is recommended to change it. Also, how to identify that we are being spied on with the use of some recommendations and practical apps, so that they cannot access our location, microphones and cameras of our electronic devices.   Apart from that, we talked about raising awareness on how everything we see on social networks is not real; what this transmits to us, ...

CIP Tafalla - Floods in Navarra

Imagen
Last weekend there were severe floods in the middle part of Navarra and its capital, Pamplona. At this moment they have reached the south, and they are heading for Aragón. They are causing serious damages in agricultural lands and buildings. Fortunately, our school is no near the big rivers. Last Friday some students and teachers couldn't come to school because they live in villages badly affected by the Arga river: Funes, Pamplona, Burlada, etc. Aerial view of the surroundings of Funes last Saturday, where the streets were practically completely flooded by the overflow of the Arga river. Images of Rochapea, a neighbourhood in Pamplona, which is one of the most affected places. Images of Burlada, a town next to Pamplona, taken by a teacher of our school who lives there.

CIP Tafalla - Students working on "Giltza" projects.

CIP TAFALLA STUDENTES WORKING ON "GILTZA" PROJECTS. "Giltza" is a program promoted by the Government of Navarre  for the activation of employment through intense and agile work methodologies. It has been tested in different centers in Navarre such as Doneztebe, Alsasua, San Adrián, Pamplona or here in Tafalla.   In our class after a week of hard work by the classmates, we proposed solutions to the problems the promoters (monitors who came to our school to train us on the topics) from the Government of Naverre made us see. One of the projects was to solve the problem of the small number of women in the factories (Women in Industry), another one was to solve the problem of transport in our surroundings which is currently causing too much pollution (Let's eco-move!), and finally, bringing local commerce closer to young people (Youngsters in Tafalla).   The news now is that four students from each school together with the monitors went to the Department of...

CIP Tafalla- November 25, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women

Imagen
NOVEMBER 25, INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR THE ELIMINATION OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN Annually, every November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women is commemorated to denounce all acts of violence against women, whether physical, sexual or psychological. This date coincides with the day of the murder of the Mirabal sisters, known as “The butterflies”, who carried out political activism in the Dominican Republic. At CIP Tafalla we wanted to participate in this event and we have done so. Initially, all the students from the center have gone down the streets. A banner that I had prepared was displayed in which you could read "One violence, a thousand forms" and we have marched towards the Plaza de Tafalla. Plaza de Tafalla. When we have arrived, we have placed ourselves in a circle around the feminist symbol, which was in the center. The City Council of Tafalla has read a manifesto in which it was claimed that the most wide...
