CIP Tafalla - Planning some projects

Hello, everyone!

In our school, CIP Tafalla, at this moment we are working on different projects that you can also implement in your school surroundings. Some of the projects are being developed in collaboration with our Regional Employment Service whose main objective is to boost youth access to employment. 

 



Moreover, as we also believe that the personal life of our students is very important, we would like to develop projects in relation to personal image, which is directly related to their self esteem.

 

Here you can find a little summary of our progress so far: 

 

1. Let's eco-move! 

 

The development of a collaborative application to share your car or private means of transport among the inhabitants in the area, in order to optimize the use of transport and reduce CO2 emissions.

The application is under construction and we will inform you of the next steps once it is finished. 

 


2. Women in industry. 

 

Our students are organizing talks and conferences given by women that are developing or have developed different roles in the industrial sector of our region, in order to encourage female students to do traditional male jobs. These conferences will be given in primary and secondary schools in our region.

 

Currently we are looking for companies with traditional male roles among their job positions which are being developed by women. 


 


 

3. Youngsters in Tafalla. 

 

It is a meeting point where young people in the village can contact small shop businesses, in order to promote local business trade. 

 

 

 

 

 

4. The best look for you. 

 

Our hairdressing students are going to create a guide to advise other students and people in general on the look that suits them best. Since Christmas is around the corner, we are thinking about giving special advice for this time of the year full of family and friends meetings. Our aim is to spread this “special advice guide” to other special days or events such as weddings, degree promotion days or religious festivities.

8M International Women's Day (IES Adeje)

 8 M International Women's Day👏 Our IES celebrated this date in different ways:  1ºESO and 3° ESO B have created biographies about different women who are great athletes. Students have selected the girl they wanted to investigate about. Students during this week will present to the rest of the group their projects. In Language students discovered great writers and their stories, lives, messages... As ambassador high school of the European Parliament 4º ESO students highlighted the active role of women as rulers of Europe. In Baccalaureate students printed relevant pictures drawn by women. Our aim is to make their work visible, giving them the recognition they deserve.  More women here

THE ROAD TO EQUALITY This March 8, International Women's Day, we want to highlight the importance of care for the development and well-being of citizens. The pandemic has exposed the crisis of the current care model, and that it does not work without the work of thousands of women. Care is essential to sustain life, but it is often free, invisible, precarious and feminized. It continues to fall mostly on women and the equitable distribution of care responsibilities is a pending challenge and an opportunity to build a more egalitarian society. We cannot forget that all people are born interdependent and in need of care, and that is why we want to once again underline the need to make a change in the approach to care.
