CIP Tafalla - Students working on "Giltza" projects.
CIP TAFALLA STUDENTES WORKING ON "GILTZA" PROJECTS.
In our class after a week of hard
work by the classmates, we proposed solutions to the problems the promoters (monitors who came to our school to train us on the topics) from the Government of Naverre made us
see. One of the projects was to solve the problem of the small number of women in the factories (Women in
Industry), another one was to solve the problem of transport in our surroundings which is currently causing too much pollution (Let's eco-move!), and finally, bringing local commerce closer to young people (Youngsters in Tafalla).
The news now is that four students from each school together with the monitors went to the Department of Education of the Government
of Navarra in Pamplona to raise our proposals to different personalities within the Department of Education (school headmasters and counselors, members of the Navarre
Employment Service, etc.)
We were summoned early in the
morning in the building where we were going to proceed to exhibit. First, they
took us all to a room in which we each exposed in 30 seconds the outline of our project. Also, in one sentence we had to summarize our activity. After that, we headed for the conference room which was packed with
people. Once there, Giltza's monitors began their explanation of the project
and later gave way to us who climbed on the stage and proceeded to speak.
We were congratulated for our rhetoric level.
With all the projects explained and
the panel discussion finished (a section in which part of the students answered a
series of questions about the week), we went together with the members of the audience to a room in which grouped randomly we made a group dynamics so
that the public could see first-hand what methodology was being carried out in
the classrooms.
