8M International Women's Day (IES Adeje)

 8 M International Women's Day👏

Our IES celebrated this date in different ways: 
1ºESO and 3° ESO B have created biographies about different women who are great athletes. Students have selected the girl they wanted to investigate about. Students during this week will present to the rest of the group their projects. In Language students discovered great writers and their stories, lives, messages...

As ambassador high school of the European Parliament 4º ESO students highlighted the active role of women as rulers of Europe.

In Baccalaureate students printed relevant pictures drawn by women. Our aim is to make their work visible, giving them the recognition they deserve.

 30 May: Day of the Canary Islands We are extremely happy to share this activity with you all! 1º ESO A, B and C students created awesome posters about loan words and words and phrases picked up from English. Moreover, as a round up activity we had an outing to Los Cristianos beach! We were all eager to have an excursion after the pandemic! It has been a great multidisciplinary activity to celebrate The Canary Islands Day: 3º ESO B, 4º ESO B and 4º ESO D students interviewed English passersby to find out what they know about our islands, and after that they played beach games such as volleyball, "lucha canaria", swimming.  Listen to our podcasts and have a look at our posters and photographs. "Semana da Leitura"- a week to discover how important reading, creating and talking are in our lives ( ENSINUS ETP/ INETE)

Schools should commit some of the syllabus work to that matter, so that self fulfilment should take place and embrace students and staff into a common ground of well being. In CIP Tafalla, Infant Education students want to support  World Water Day, which is held on 22 March every year since 1993, and focuses on the importance of freshwater. World Water Day celebrates water and raises awareness of the 2.2 billion people living without access to safe water. It is about taking action to tackle the global water crisis.  LET'S SAVE WATER!
