Taking care of my image, you take care of me - CIP TAFALLA

Taking care of my image, you take care of me

Last Friday, the Hairdressing and Hair Cosmetics students and the Care for Dependent People carried out an intercycle Kimua project, a project called “Taking care of my image, you take care of me”.

To begin, two questionnaires were carried out, the Hairdressing students had to answer questions about different groups with specific needs, while the Dependency students answered about how to perform hair hygiene and manicure.

Next, some videos were shown where hairdressing students had edited around hair hygiene and manicure. Afterwards, the Dependency students gave voice-over presentations about users with four types of needs: blind people, hearing loss, reduced mobility and the elderly. Doubts that appeared in the different groups were also resolved.

Later, to put into practice what they learned, the students of the two cycles carried out practices in the hairdressing salon with real users. Hairdressing students showed how to perform hair hygiene and manicures, while Dependency students showed how to treat or mobilize users.

To finish, a Kahoot was carried out mixing people from the two cycles to see what had been learned and if any questions needed to be answered.

It was a very beautiful day and an experience we will repeat in the future for sure!
