 NOVEMBER 25, INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR THE ELIMINATION OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN Annually, every November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women is commemorated to denounce all acts of violence against women, whether physical, sexual or psychological. This date coincides with the day of the murder of the Mirabal sisters, known as “The butterflies”, who carried out political activism in the Dominican Republic. At CIP Tafalla we wanted to participate in this event and we have done so. Initially, all the students from the center have gone down the streets. A banner that I had prepared was displayed in which you could read "One violence, a thousand forms" and we have marched towards the Plaza de Tafalla. Plaza de Tafalla. International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women   STOP it! ✋ All our high school dedicated many hours to debate and talk about this topic. We are very satisfied with the massive participation of our students. We shared opinions, read information and decorated our classroom doors with messages and art to be conscious of the need to stop this dramatic reality. World Diabetes Day   -    14 November We want to celebrate this special date. Thanks to insulin great improvement was achieved to treat this disease. We have some knowledge about it because some students know how to live taking care of their sugar levels at first hand. What do you know about Diabetes? 👀👂 We read and commented on this article.  World Diabetes Day 2021 After sharing some opinions and personal experiences, students talked about different ways to take care of our health. We researched and finally agreed on:   *Keep a balanced diet. Avoid junk food and too much sugar.  *Practise sports.  *Check your health at least once a year.  *If you were born with this disease, follow the protocol and let people in charge know about your case.  *Talk about Diabetes, help to make it visible.

Hello, everyone! In our school, CIP Tafalla, at this moment we are working on different projects that you can also implement in your school surroundings. Some of the projects are being developed in collaboration with our Regional Employment Service whose main objective is to boost youth access to employment.    Moreover, as we also believe that the personal life of our students is very important, we would like to develop projects in relation to personal image, which is directly related to their self esteem.   Here you can find a little summary of our progress so far:    1.
