 30 May: Day of the Canary Islands We are extremely happy to share this activity with you all! 1潞 ESO A, B and C students created awesome posters about loan words and words and phrases picked up from English. Moreover, as a round up activity we had an outing to Los Cristianos beach! We were all eager to have an excursion after the pandemic! It has been a great multidisciplinary activity to celebrate The Canary Islands Day: 3潞 ESO B, 4潞 ESO B and 4潞 ESO D students interviewed English passersby to find out what they know about our islands, and after that they played beach games such as volleyball, "lucha canaria", swimming.  Listen to our podcasts and have a look at our posters and photographs. Travelling and learning with Erasmus+ (INETE)

Travelling and learning with Erasmus+! 馃憤 Our school has participated in an Erasmus project along with teachers from Iceland, Serbia, Greece, Belgium. Our goal is to gain digital skills to face the increasing challenges in education.  Despite the pandemics, teachers have managed to overcome constraints and met last October in Reykjavik and will meet again this coming week in Belgium.  As a result of their work, they are sharing this newsletter.  We would love to have you following us in this formative process under the Erasmus spirit.  Click  here

Promoting reading habits in our school - ENSINUS ETP/ INETE

  We started to promote afternoon talks in our library regarding reading habits, cultural interests, to engage students, teachers and other staff in positive aspects of our lives. Reading is not the primary issue but along the way someone share a text, present a good moment reading or discussing a good movie that led them to the book behind the screen. This coming week we will do our 3rd and 4th talks. One is dedicated to manga, the Japanese cartoons, and the other to books that they want to read.  It has been quite interesting to promote these moments. We never know beforehand who will turn up, but the joy in their eyes, the feeling go wholeness has been a really interesting discovery and perception. This might seem strange, but our students are over 16 years and ours is a vocational school. Usually, they say they don't like reading. I hope we are about to change it. Cristina Bas铆lio
